If only labradors came in pink......
You could always make your own t-shirt by printing the UKS logo onto t-shirt transfer paper. I've made a few t-shirts like that by scanning things and printing them. I'm sure Smax posted a logo once when someone wanted to make a badge (or something). Maybe he could do it again?

Ahhh...yes....no wonder I get such strange looks when I try to speak to people! Either that or they unload their entire life story.... don't know which is worse, really. I do have the Kate Fox book, 'Watching the English', but obviously haven't read it. Another item for my 'to do' list.

Maybe it comes from being an ex WW leader!
I've met a couple of people in work that are on here and probably alot more that haven't said they are members. Next time you're in the Card Fairy in leicester say hello to the Red haired person AKA scrappyannie !

just don't call me The Boss
I am awaiting a quote for the smae badge we had before, as well as a slightly larger one. Also the same logo design on a keyring, in both hard and flexible PVC versions.
I would expect the price to be slightly higher than the old £1 per pin, but not too much. I would also expect they would be available by mail before Bonanza as well as at Bonanza.
My head was spinning with possibilities -- UKS lanyards, trolley coins, patches ...... But I am trying to be sensible and looking at only one or two new things a year, and not going crazy and ending up with a ton of stock no one wants. I am coming to the end of the mug stock and think after Bonanza there may be no more of them left, and the first lot of pins are gone, so it's a good time to be looking at new things.
For anyone with an old UKS badge - would a slightly larger size be better (about 1.75 inches or 38 mm long)? Or the same size (about 1.25 inches or 35 mm long)? And key rings - is the preference for PVC flexible fobs or hard ones like the badges?
Heck I guess I should do a poll!

I would love a pin too!
My dad used to wear a Knights of St Columba pin, and recognise 'friends' the world over.
There was one hilarious occasion on holiday when he and a guy noticed each other's pins and chatted away for ages about possible mutual acquaintances etc ... very long into the conversation they noticed that my dad's pin was the Knights, and the other guy's was the Rotary, but both were far too polite (and embarassed) to mention it.
They parted with a (not secret) handshake!

I always ask. Just ask the people who were at the Scraptastic sale... I asked "are you one of us?" in a whispered way, which prompted a "one of what?" and I said "UKSCrapper!".
I've had a UKS pin since 2003... and don't start on secret handshakes again... that's how come we got to have goats at Bonanza last year!!
