Do you need ribbon?
I am such a magpie. I cut the ribbon from clothes that sticks out in unsightly places. You get some fab colours from clothes. I am the only female in this house so there are only my garments to steal from, but those of you who have other females in the home might get more out of this one than I do. So next time you empty the clean washing basket, have a pair of scissors handy. Who needs those bits of ribbon in clothes anyway?

as a newbie to this:
Do you have to worry about acid free at all with cloth or can trimmings and cloth off clothes always be used?

Handbag, shoe and choco - holic!
I would think it is a safe bet that clothing is acid free (you wouldn't want acid in clothing really, would you?).

So many ideas, so little time ....
We have a local RSPCA charity shop which always has a bargain rail of clothes for just 25p. I'll always go and check out the rail and have so far bought clothes for the buttons / sequins / fabric etc. I've even been known to find a Wallis jacket which is very wearable, too!

I am lovely
yeah I do that with the ribbons too...a while ago I bought this fab halter neck top and it had the most gorgeous lime green ribbony things in it Even the plain white ones are handy and the really small thin ribbons are great for making little bows.

My tip is bagies, I don't know how I survived without those bags that you can re seal. When I find suff around the house that MIGHT come in handy in scrapbooking sometime in the future I put it in one and add it to the draw.
Everyonce in a while I go through them and make up a I WILL NEVER IN MY LIFE USE THIS STUFF bag and put it aside for when my niece and nephew come around and want to do a page in my book.
I love them.

You often find very nice material in clothes in charity shops which can be used in LOs to give some good texture.
