    Making your own Rub-ons??

    Hi
i've just found a site that gives instructions on how to make your own rub-ons!
Has anyone actually tried to do this.....and if so what was the results and what did you use to print on?
The instuctions i have are to use Transparency sheet or page protector.
Anyone know of a place or site i can get some?

    thanks

I got some paper especially for printing on to make your own rubons

It came with 2 sheets one transparent for printing on and one sticky that you press on once the ink is dry

The rubons were ok but you have to cut them close to the image if you dont want the edge to show. I can bring some to the next crop if you like

i used transparency and it worked very well for me

print the mirror image onto the shiny side

wait about five minutes and then it's ready. you still have to be careful not to smudge it and don't change any settings to special transpareny ones - best to stick with normal or best so that the transparency is loaded with ink.

    hope that helps

just read the thread again. If you want to transfer script on to paper using the method of printing back to front on wax paper then rubbing it down on to the card/layout you need A4 wax paper left over from sticky labels.
I used this method successfully on cards.
