Hi Kevin, if you look at my bathtime Dottie card in the post above yours I was able to resize and then print Dottie on to my patterned paper to give me a different background, which I believe if I had not got the transparent set I would not have been able to acheive (I may be wrong though but that was my understanding which is why I went for them also so that I could colour and fill with texture too) HTH
