Afternoon all!

I hope you're all enjoying the festive break at the moment and possibly getting some time to craft a little.

With the new year fast approaching, I'm going to share the first prompt of 2022 a little early.

Also, can you believe this will be the 11th year that I've been hosting a card challenge of some sort?

For this year's challenge I'm once again looking to Pinterest each month to find a prompt that will allow you to take an element or several elements from the image and interpret them any way you wish on a card.

I really enjoyed the added twist of including a focus colour each month last year, so will be keeping that in the challenge this year too. It's just a fun extra that you can include in a big way (as the main colour palette of your card) or as a little pop of contrast in your design.

The full instructions and details for this year's challenge can be found in the intro post on my blog here.

Past prompts will all be tagged under 2022 card challenge on my blog so you can find them easily in one place.

Also for those of you on Instagram, I'll be using the hashtag #2022handmadecardchallenge to share my projects there, so feel free to use this tag on Instagram as well!

The focus colour for January is: Blue

...in an effort to chase the January blues away with some creative fun.

The Pin-spiration is....

I look forward to seeing how you interpret it - remember I've listed a few tips over on the blog post for this month.

The full instructions and details for this year's challenge can be found in the intro post on my blog here.

Points for this challenge:
This challenge scores you 20 points. As with all the other UKS challenges you can only claim this once a month.
But remember you can also claim points for up to 10 cards you make in any month.

So all that remains for me to say is: Happy crafting!
