die cut adaptor thingy???

I have a sizzix as i had trouble using a quickcutz - am very weak wristed - but ive just found a site with quickcutz alpha dies and one of them is fab - it looks like joined up writing....so, Question, i believe there is a plate i need to buy first. I have the sizzix plate that lets me use sizzlets is there another, where do i get one and how much - if anyone has a piccy ill wuv you forever

i use the magnetic convertor on mine and it works

ignore that, i use the convertor to cut the sizzlets and i do have a very thin piece of ply that i cut and if i put that in there i can cut quickutz too.

i put some fab foam under the cutting plate instead of the paper shim... i also tend to stick one of the black converters over the die as well... neat cuts every time

Where can you get these black foam adapters, like Lisa i have the Sizzix Adapter, didnt realise i needed another.

Whilst on this topic......I have the sizzlet sidekick thingy....can I use other dies in this?? If so...what/how etc

I think you use the same adaptor that we are talking about. It makes a QK die the same thickness as a sizzlet

You need the sizzit adapter plate (magnetic metal thingy) and the black sizzix coverters (black plastic). Then you can cut qk on your Sizzix.

As Terri said above, we have the Sizzix adapters, in packs of 10 or singly. They enable dies like Quickutz to be used in the regular sizzix machine (with a converter too) or through the sidekick.
