    4'' square metal tin

    if anyone is interested ive just got a 4''satinised metal square tin from morrisons at £1.80...ontop of the lid is oxo embossed and its full of oxo cubes and recipes but its a lovely tin to alter

    iv got this tin but not sure what to do about the embossing on the lid. Any ideas?

    maybe put a large flower ontop...maybe a gerbre type(not sure if i spelt this right)

    Yup very! I've been storing my embellishments (well some of them- have way too many) in it. But only got around to start painting it - so it is sat with one coat of orange begging to be finished, im sure it will be in the somewhat near(ish) future

    did you have to sand it before painting it? and im presuming you used acrylic? I usually sand but as its not shiny I wondered if you could get away without it but then again it only takes a mo so why risk it i s'pose.

    I didnt sand mine but it will need a few coats, so maybe i should have, paint has "stuck" ok though

    Would you upload yours when you are finished, may get some inspriation to finish mind! lol

    will do but you may have quite a wait as i've several projects on the go at the moment and i wont be able to get around to it for a while...but yes will do
