Sizzix or Quickutz??

Sizzix - you can use sizzlets and quickkutz on it as said above, but it is very heavy. Cuts through anything though.

does the sidekick cut through mountboard? if not what's the thickest it will cut???

Edited to add - i'm really looking at either the sidekick or the quickutz squeeze for size - i want something i can take to crops

Oh dear, whichever one you choose probably won't be the last! I went from not have any to now have the Sidekick (free with mag subscription) the full size Sizzix and then the pink QC Squeeze and I like all of them equally. I suppose you can do more with the large Sizzix there are some fab new dies out at the mo. Just depends what you want it for.

You won't get mountboard through a sidekick without breaking it, and I don't think the Sizzlets would cut through it even using a Sizzix machine. I struggle to get them to go through more than 2 pieces of a thin cardstock at a time.

Not so sure the QK would either, but I'm prepared to stand corrected on that one as I haven't actually tried it.

I think Cheryl is right - I know the sidekick will only go through paper and thin(ish) card and I think Quickutz is the same. The full size sizzix cuts through a greater range of materials than any of the others but only the regular dies not the sizzlits.
