Guess what!! I got my xmas prezzie very early and I've been playing
I have a stamp I use for my cards and I stamped and scanned it into Robo master. I traced around it and broke down all the little bits and made this gsd out of it.
Ooooh can't wait to see what else this little beauty can do.
I cut these from Vellum and then from card stock and cut off the bases and a bit off the top and pasted this behind the vellum glass to look like wine in the glass. (the glue was still drying when I took the pic.. looks much better in the flesh)
The bottle and cork (cut from green vellum) were from some kind soul from this site - sorry I dont know who.
I actually managed to make something that works without sending robo potty! I couldn't wait to see how it worked so threw one together... the piccie is real ropey as I didn't even wait for the glue to dry. It is made from acetate back and front with the outline in card
Hi was asked to do a card for someone who apparently loves Strawberry Dakari to drink so made this glass and pick -Found the Strawberries on this site by Ruth Hansen thanks they worked well
Hope someone can use for another cocktail!!
I have been playing this week, nd have made a few filigree templates. I have not had chance to cut any of the yet, because my computer is downstairs for a while and Robbie is on holiday upstairs. Will try cutting the others before posting. But I am going to take a chance and post this filgree champagne flute as I think it will cut O K ........ I hope so anyway. If somebody does cut it before I manage to maybe you can post your design.
I am thoroughly enjoying the learning process. I am still a newbie but every day I learn something useful. I have converted to GSD but unfortunately the file will only work with the Silhouette machine. I have used it in a very small size (3.5 cm) on the card but it works well as a larger glass. Hope someone will find it useful.
I've been working on these for the past week to get them just right. There's 3 different ones so I'm going to put them into seperate threads.
This one is similar to another well known design, but I've been doing it for ages before the other one came out. By painstakingly cutting everything by hand until I got my Robo that is and I wanted to make them perfect and easier for myself.
Hope you all like them and can all make use of them.
Here's the second one. The picture is only for an idea of how it looks all put together onto a card, it is by no means a completed project, lol. Obviously, names, dates and embellishments would need to be added.
