It gets worse I can only think that the large order has left them overworked or something.

Jane - can't wait to see what you make!!

I was reading a Dutch lady's blog and she mentioned that she blends coloured pencils when she colours her stamps with a paper stump and turpentine

Anybody know what a paper stump is or am I being a bit thick

I am pretty sure that a paper stump is a sticlk of tightly rolled paper, I have seen them before for sale and in use, but can't for the life of me think where is was now
You remember the lollipop sticks (swizzlers make I think) used to use paper sticks rather than the plastic ones they use now. Similar to them, but not quite so tightly wound and hard. It gives a good smudgy effect without being to harse on the stamp or the blending

Either that or I am completely puggled hehehe

I was right, I have just found this and this is the description

"STOMPS are made of tightly spiral-wound, soft gray paper. Use both ends for smoothing and blending pastel or charcoal."

Received a parcel from Sweden this morning, only problem is it is the fence, frog and chicken to go with my Tildas ordered here, so still can't do much, but will have a practice with my watercolour crayons on these at least. Fingers crossed the others come soon

Yeah I agree Kitty it should be done like that regardless of size of order, yes its quicker to get smaller ones out but they should do as they get them. Perhaps there are some that they are having to make for order, or perhaps their qtys they stock are exceeded by the trade orders..

All this waiting and I have only ordered mine! LOL Oppps another 4 fell into my cart today!

I agree and they are getting to a wider audience by sending out a trade order

Am so chuffed for the girlies on the receiving end of their stamps, but it is a bif off of Mangolia not to pack orders as they arrive!! You'd think they'd want to get the big orders out first to ensure return business wouldn't you?!

As for first inking, think that'll be my Tilda in Wellies

Mine will be the Tilda with the birthday cake for my Mum's birthday card from DD Then I'm not sure really - I love them all.

Caz - I agree about the Edwin fishing - I got him too! And I also got sporty Edwin as I thought he'd be great for my Step Dad who is well into sports! They should be brill for mens cards
