Text to Paths

Hi everyone

I wondered if someone can tell me where I'm going wrong! At the moment I'm just trying stuff out in the DM Manual. I've been trying to do "Fitting Text to Paths". I've drawn both the freehand path and the done the words, the manual then says select both objects and go Transform, fit text to path. I don't have fit text to path in the menu. its not greyed out, its just not there.

What am I doing wrong?

Not sure if this is missing from DM. Some things were omitted as it was a cut down version of other software.

Yep, unfortunately it's one of the things that got taken out when they were making DM. Sandy put it in the original manual by accident. She did an updated version of the manual a few days later which is on the Crafty Club website.
