Well I uploaded it, I thought to this post, but it's not showing up. Oh well, back to the drawing board.
At last, I did it! I forgot to "Save Changes" I should do it more often then perhaps it would stick. Thanks for the advice about uploading Lucille, I'm sure I printed it off once before, but anyway have done it again and will keep it handy.
Yes I tried that method of selection, I think it must be something to do with the weld. I can only assume that if the letters were welded it should all move together.
Its too hot to try today, in the middle of a heat wave.
Just another question! If I am trying to create a shape by layering one on top of another is there a way of locking the two shapes together. I tried the locking option but that does not appear to do as I want.
Well done Anne, I love cats, I have two. Well thought out design. I floundered a bit, had three goes at it and then the programme closed right at the end as I was about to cut - three times! Made it on the fourth, at least I think it was the fourth, lol. I lost count a bit.
Looks great Anne! Spookily I was thinking last night about doing something similar with dogs!! Will probably still do it if I can find or draw a doggie!
Oh, I finally did one!! I'm having a few issues with the computer at the moment, but will hopefully upload it tomorrow morning. This worked really well with my efforts to complete Sebastian's first birthday album for next weekend!!
Thanks so much for the tutorial, it was really easy to follow!
Thanks for the encouragement girls. I feel I cheated a bit though, as the cats were a dingbat which meant I could skip the first part of the tut, but my first go at it was copying the tut word for word and doing the flower, which I still have as a beautiful topper.
Thank you to everyone who puts these tutorials together, you are such clever ladies
