Anyone else doing Finding Photo Freedom, new name for LOM

Just thought I'd see if any UK scrappers are joining up for Finding Photo Freedom, this year's 'version' of LOM, a new class but I've been able to register freeas an Alumnus as I did LOM the last two years.

Huh? What's LOM? Who's doing the Finding Photo Freedom course? I'm asking because I'm looking for a photography/photo editing course.

Yes, I've seen that one ("Advanced Artistry") but I'm looking for a beginner or at least lower level photo editing course than 'advanced'. I'm okay with the camera, but would like to know more about using Photoshop Elements.

And I still would like to know what LOM is!!

I think it's by Stacy Julian and it's to do with organising your photos, I think

Jane, I had an email through about a class from BigPictureClasses that might suit what you're looking for!

I was considering doing the Photo Freedom class but havent done anythign about it. TBH, I've got soooo much other stuff happening at the moment I'm not sure I really have the time!

@JaneH - LOM stands for Library of Memories. It's a system for getting organised with your photos + albums... so if you're looking for editing photos, that wouldn't be it, I'm afraid! Maybe if you wanted to organise them though! ;-)

Thanks, Shimelle. Actually, I'm looking for a Photoshop Elements course. Cheryl's would have been ideal, but it's already finished -- or almost so. I've found quite a few YouTube videos and some tutorials, so maybe I can cobble together something similar to an online course. Too bad there's not a course titled 'Photoshop Elements for Scrapbookers' -- now that would be great!

ooh -- just on impulse I just now googled that exact title and there are quite a few resources listed, so I'm going to check it out.

    janeH,
I'd recommend jessica sprague courses for learning about photoshop elements.

    Iruk,
See you over in the Photo Freedom group again then!

Another vote for the Jessica Sprague ones - I really learned so much through them.

    Take care.
