Thank you for the setting the challenge . All the designs so far have been great.
Here is mine; I have made a tealight holder of my favourite place for a sunset – Tanah Lot Temple on Bali. The holder could be used with battery operated tealights.
I have found another use for my Robo too . I took the teatowel that I use to cover it with & draped it over the Robo to get a background for the photo LOL.
Inspired by the pictures of tea light holders MaryAnne posted Ok so its not as complicated as those but not too bad for a first attempt
Obviously do not use real tea lights I will use the battery ones also the outer holder would make a neat little gift bowl for sweets on a wedding or Christmas table or to put in a few gifts
Or a really really big muffin LOL

I saw the discussion about the tealight houses in the chat, and what a coincidence because I have worked on these for a couple of days. Now I have some templates ready.
The two first files are ready to cut. In the last one you choose which windows you want and where to place them. If you bend the arcs on the roof slightly, the light will shine through. Cut the green separat in another color and glue it around the windows.
I wasn't going to upload the files now because I haven't had time to cut them yet. Therefore I can't give you a picture, sorry about this. Maybe someone of you can help me with the pictures.
I don't know if this is a family house or a school building or anything else. You choose!
I have made it so that it will look like a big Swedish wooden house with traditional colors.
Maybe this can be used as a part of a town scene.
got a bit bored making cards, so I have designed and made this house in studio. It's very basic and I have only cut it in plain white card to iron out any niggles. Will try over the next few days to do and upload a decorated one.
hope it's of some use to someone. Feel free to do as you please with it
Many thanks
Vanessa
ps have now finished a decorated one, I am really pleased with it, already planning Christmas ones!!

I was asked by our school to come up with a new idea for our local fair - searched forums etc & then remembered seeing something similar on C&C. Basically it is a card with a box attached to house 4 tea lights. Hope it can be of some use to you all. I bought 30 lights for £1 & made 7 cards from each pack - hopefully they will make some needed funds for the PTA.
This is made from an A4 sheet so you may need to finish some of the cuts/perforations over the mat/cutting area. (I only have a robolite so A4 is my biggest size.)
To make the box you attach some acetate to the cut out, cut the flaps (they are perforated), remove the excess along the long stretch of the card and make the box. You can then fold the card & decorate as you wish! Hope this makes sense!
