I am glad others are struggling as much as I was! hehe
Layers are fine, but it's bumps and lumps you can't have!
Never realised how much I rely on foam pads and buttons, and pearls and all manner of lumpy bits until I couldn't use them!
Oh Nat you are so wicked I can see you are enjoying this!!!
Well, I think I have not only managed flat, but I'm also going to throw this one in for a few of the challenges I missed. The one design of paper, also scraps, 2 scalloped edges so that's at least four cards rolled into one.
Mind you, it's not quite finished yet, so maybe I'm speaking to soon. After all this, I'm not sure if I even like it enough to send it but it fits the challenge so who cares.

Well done Susie, if you can catch up with one card why the heck not?
Am loving all the different takes on flat cards - you are such a creative bunch!
Thanks for the lovely comments ladies, it's just nice to join in once in a while. Crafty stuff is still taking a back seat to all the other 'life' stuff going on.
Karen, I love the papers in your card, very pretty colours.
Lin, it's easy to do the link, in fact, it's the only way I know to connect the two.
Upload photo to gallery - in boxes that appear beneath right click Linked Thumbnails and click copy. Go to card making forum - click post reply - left click blue link symbol near top - in new box which opens right click and paste your link - click ok.
now i could try and sneak this on and declare me 'up to date' and hope nobody spots the missing card for last week but i would know and loose sleep!
love this weeks challenge! it was a little of a challenge unil i knew where i was going then it was an hour or so of total enjoyment! i nearly cheated and went with liquid pearls down the punch but settled on colouring some peel offs black to tie with the bunnies! i love this little card and loved all the steps in making it - even whan i had to start all over when my xyron runner missed the F off friendship!
That is lovely Lilli. Are the dandelions stamped or stencilled? That reminds me I have dandelion stamps, must dig them out.
I tried the peel offs but couldn't match up the colour with any of my many promarkers etc... and then almost cheated with liquid pearls but didn't in the end.

thank you ladies. Jayne, I have so many of these freebie stamps too and rarely know what to do with them, it was purely laziness that they got to be used today lol! they were on my mag, on my desk and I needed something else for the card - they meant I didn't have to move
Susie - it's part of a Kanban stamp set. I bought a large pack a year ago and have just pulled them all out and seen the potential I saw a year ago but forgot (i used the butterfly one in the pastel challenge) i used 4 different distress inkpads which give a lovely soft stamped effect.
And here's mine for week 10! Don't worry mum, this one's not for you ;-)
I know it looks a bit lumpy but I promise it's totally flat. No foam pads or anything, just a few layers of paper. The butterflies even lie flat as they are only stuck on with glossy accents!
