Thanks for the lovely comments ladies. Seeing your sweet bird cage Virginia has reminded me that I actually have quite a few similar stamps and die cuts. I still need to make one more Mother's Day card so if I have time I might try the birdie bit.
Afternoon all, love the cards so far Philthetog, I love the 'dropper' from the flower, can I ask where you got it from please?
I'm almost caught up now, I only have week 8 to do but I'm struggling with which one piece of pp to use! Time to search through the scraps box methinks! I'll take pics of all when I'm done, I daren't stop crafting now or else I'll get sidetracked.

Here's last week's, and yes, the bird is on the tilt, I like to think he's feeding rather than dead!
Definitely flat though, the butterflies have glimmer mist on, so look better IRL
the colour and birds are obv. The stitching, I gathered the lace with a running stitch and then hand stitched it into place.
In keeping with my own personal challenges this year, i've used old bits of white card and this card has a purpose. This challenge is really helping me do my cards that i personally need, and in plenty of time to send, this one is for June and the biggest recycling bit is the backing paper here. I popped into our florist in town and asked for any flowers he had in his bin and then popped them through my bigshot!
Nat - came close to meeting up - I went to see the mystery knitting last weekend, amazing isn't it?
haha Lilli - hope you had chance for some lovely fish n chips or an ice cream down by the pier while you were there. We were really lucky with the weather.
Lovely cards for last week's dare girls! I look forward to seeing what you come up with for this week's, I am in need of some creating inspiration for this particular theme as I have a few more cards to make.
