what does it mean when you try to open a file and a box comes up saying this file is not supported

It means the software you're using to open the file isn't the right one. What are the three letters after the dot in the name of the file and which software are you using to try and open it Rae?

hi doreen it doesent say anything on it who put them on there small borders i thought they were lucilles but im afraid its not hers its got the silhouette logo on it but no name or nothing to say for personal use it just says this file type your trying to access is not supported and there about 6-8 designs on the sheet but you cant seperate them when you try to seperate them they all come off

Sorry Rae I didn't mean the name of the person who made them I meant the name at the bottom of the file but if it's got the Silhouette logo then it should open in the Silhouette software. If it says it's not supported how have you managed to see what they are?

it just says small borders nothing else ive just deleted them there was about 4-5 ive deleted there's no use keeping them if i cant open them

sorry doreen i didnt manage to see them as i said it wouldnt open every time i went to open them this box came up saying i couldnt open it

If you couldn't open them Ray then you wouldn't be able to separate them
