Oh dear Hazel, that sounds awful I am sure you will have a lovely holiday this time
Here is my texture card - a while ago I made a masterboard with inks, stamps and texture paste, most of it got cut up and put on a layout, but I saved enough for a card and an ATC. I didn't want to cover up too much of the texture, so I just added a ribbon and a sentiment
Oooh, I can see why you didn't want to cover up that gorgeous texture Wendy, it's amazing! Thank you, and you too Lilli for your wishes. I shall miss seeing all the lovely cards on here, but I'll have loads to see when I return!
Hello remember me ROFL - I got almost caught up at the beginning of March and then had another big bout of illness, which took me almost 6 weeks to get over. Still I am back fit and well now and desperately trying to catch up. I would love to read back through the whole thread of cards that I have missed but will compromise by going back 3 pages to comment on everyone's cards. Then I will try and upload what I have done so far.
Wendy - great hexagon card, you have been extravagent with the pearl swirl - I can never bring myself to put them on cards LOL!! Love your word card, love your use of the inverted corner punch - I have one somewhere, I must dig it out!! Great week 16 card, love the embossed cardstock. Week 17 is lovely - I struggle so much with male cards probably because I can't use pink or butterflies on them LOL!! Week 18 - Wow you have made a pink card!!!! Very lovely x Love your texture card, it is very effective.
Virginia - Love your hexagon card and your word card is gorgeous, especially with all the butterflies x Love your butterflies for your negative die cut card, very effective. Really nice card made with scraps and your tag card is beautiful - I love that die cut butterfly x
Thriftycrafter - I have left you a comment in the gallery for your scraps card.
Lilli - lovely scraps cards and great use of the liberated fork LOL!! Lovely word card -the chalkboard is very effective. Your texture card is fab - teens are so difficult to make cards for!!
Hazel - lovely pink tag card, I love how you have done the button fastening. Your texture card is fab, great use of all those embossing folders.
You are really going great guns Karen, all lovely cards And reminded me that I never did three of the early weeks, I know the sketch was one, new stash was another ... can't remember the third. I will have to look back!
WOW! Karen, you have been busy! I hope I manage to catch up when I return in 3 weeks time. I see you are another fan of Liz over at PP. Those images on your mini cards are adorable. Love the deep texture of the hexagons and great with the bee stamps. I like the way the background on your mermaid cards are reminiscent of water.
