I don't think of it as cheating Fi - more of maximising your opportunities!
Sandra - so pretty and feminine! I especially love that background paper - would be beautiful on a tea set! Paper and Ribbons - (that seems so impersonal) - love the colourful hearts - very modern and a brilliant interpretation of the theme. I do love the white on white.
Week 5 - Glitter, pale, love. White card stock, spellbinder nestie in silver matted with checked card stock in shades of green, blue and turquoise. The heart and the text are cut from turquoise glitter card.
Here is my card for week 5. I had just received the Fancy Pants Beloved paper pad at the beginning of the week which was perfect for the prompts. It also gave me a chance to dig out my glitter card too which has been neglected.
Never mind Jess it's a lovely card whichever way you look at it.
SilverTiger, that is such a pretty card, I love the blue flowers are they a download or what? They are so delicate.
Ang, lovely to see you on here again, gorgeous card as always.
Ali, message for you in the gallery.
Fi, there is no such thing as cheating, it's thinking outside the box!
Nat, great idea to photograph the ribbon. If anyone will know if I can get it you will, I'm always amazed at how you find all the different things that go on your cards, most of which I've never heard of. Just need daylight now for the photo.
Just a public service announcement and forewarning of possible disruption.
My Internet connection at home is down due to a fault in the network area and it's not clear whether it will definitely be fixed today as estimated or not.
I will try and hog someone else's connection before Monday to get the blog post live but will have to get everything set up on my laptop if that's the case. Fingers crossed it doesn't come to that, but I am not feeling optimistic today and am also having Internet issues at work (with a different ISP) - have I basically broken the Internet? Hm...
But if (God forbid) I have no Internet connection this weekend I may finally have a massive cleaning session and organization day, and actually make some cards with just the radio/music for company and no Lovefilm Instant to distract me. I really hope it doesn't come to that!
Yep, sounds like you've single handedly broken the Internet Nat, well done! What an awful price to pay, having to make cards.
I haven't taken the photo of my ribbon yet because it is so awful here today, very wet and very dark. I've put every fire on and the heating and all the lights to make everywhere cosy. Fortunately our new dogs are trained to nip out and pee on the ivy, so no long walk this afternoon. Not that they'd thank us for it, they are both curled up in front of the fire at present.
SilverTiger, it would be lovely if you could get your hands on more of that blue flower but at least you've made great use of it.
My embellishments came for the wedding invites and they are so pretty, my niece has seen a photo and she loves them, just need to work out how many I need and order more now.
Well I know I am very late and don't really stand a chance of catching up, but may I still join in please? I am loving everyone's cards and I think this may be just what I need for inspiration to get going and make a card a week!
